For groups of 10–20 guests, Spirit of Gwonda and Oceans offer comfortable, social spaces with plenty of room to relax and celebrate.
Planning a boat party for 25 or 30 people? All three catamarans are great options, with Island Time offering a little extra space to spread out.
For 35–42 guests, Island Time is our largest vessel, with spacious indoor and outdoor entertaining areas designed for bringing everyone together.
Got an even bigger crew? Ask us about our multi-boat raft-up events, accommodating up to 102 guests across our fleet.

What's Included?

- Island activities for day charters incl. Stand up Paddle Boards, beach games and splash mat
- Use of iPas with premium Spotify and sound system on board
- Use of small marine BBQ if required
- Use of large eskies (ice supplied)
- Photos & videos taken by your crew - sent to you post charter in a folder
What do i Bring?

- Food, drinks and non-breakable cups etc (unless you want us to organise the catering for you).

what are your Catering Options?
Our guests have the option to BYO food and drinks at no additional cost. We provide two large eskies and ice on the day, and there is also a BBQ you can use. BYO guests need to bring non-breakable cups, plates, cutlery, napkins etc as required.
Alternatively, many of our guests opt to have professional catering delivered to the boat for a stress-free option. We partner with quality caterers and can offer a range of delicious options to suit every budget and occasion. Where do we depart from?
Our boats are berthed at Marina Mirage. Please see the contact us page on our website for further details and a map. Marina Mirage is about 10 mins from Surfers and 15 mins from Broadbeach.
There is parking available at Mariners Cove (paid) and Marina Mirage plus limited street parking on Seaworld Drive. Please check signage at time of parking and consider ride share for a stress free arrival at your charter (especially during busy times of year).
Where can we go?
We operate in the calm, protected waters of the Gold Coast Broadwater. Where to go very much depends on what you would like to do and how long your boat charter is for, so please feel free to discuss this with our team. In a 3 hour charter during the day, our guests usually love a swim stop at Wavebreak Island where you can enjoy the range of beach activities on board. Your skipper is knowledgeable in the local area and will make recommendations based on the conditions on the day.
If you don't wish to swim in a 3 hour charter you instead opt to sail further north along the inside of South Stradbroke Island and see the millionaires mansions at Sovereign Islands.
In the evening, we will generally sail north to watch the sunset and return to the southern part of the Broadwater to enjoy the city lights after dark which are just beautiful.

Can I hire a private party boat for 15, 20, 30 or 40 people on the Gold Coast?
Absolutely! Sailing in Paradise has three private sailing catamarans accommodating up to 30 or 42 guests. Whether you're organising a party for 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 or 40 people, we'll help you choose the boat that best suits your group. For larger celebrations, ask about our multi-boat raft-up options.
How much does a private boat party cost on the Gold Coast?
Our private Gold Coast boat parties start from $1,450 for a three-hour charter, including your own catamaran, professional skipper and friendly crew. Pricing varies depending on the boat, charter duration and season. BYO food and drinks are welcome, or we can arrange catering and drinks packages.
Can we play our own music or bring a DJ?
Of course! All three catamarans have onboard sound systems and Spotify Premium, so you can bring your favourite playlist and set the mood. You're also welcome to arrange your own DJ, subject to our onboard setup and sound guidelines.
Can we have a boat party with swimming and beach activities?
Yes! Our daytime Gold Coast boat parties can include an island stop for swimming, stand-up paddleboarding, beach games and relaxing in the sunshine. Activities and swimming stops depend on your charter duration, weather, tides and conditions on the day.
what happens if it rains?
First of all remember...a little rain doesn't stop a great party on our boats ha ha... But do rest assured that we have a very generous wet weather policy as we want you to enjoy your time on board the boat, so if there is torrential rain or storms at the time you will be able to cancel or reschedule your cruise.
